Our Mission: As the Underwater Technology Program, our mission is to educate qualified and equipped underwater experts for the sustainable management and conservation of the oceans. We aim to provide students with the opportunity to work and explore in the underwater world, contribute to the preservation of underwater ecosystems, and support research and innovation in areas such as marine biology, underwater archaeology, and marine tourism.

Our Vision: The vision of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Vocational School of Maritime Technologies, Shipbuilding Program is to become an exemplary education and research center in the maritime industry. Our goal is to transform our department into the leading educational institution in Turkey in the short term, in the Mediterranean region in the medium term, and globally in the long term, with both human and technical capital.

In line with this vision, we aim to instill environmental awareness in students, emphasize the importance of the underwater world, and contribute to a more conscious and responsible approach among future generations by explaining the delicate balances of marine ecosystems. Moreover, we focus on preserving the richness of the seas and embracing principles of sustainable resource management to ensure the transferability of the underwater world to future generations.
