Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Maritime Technologies Vocational School; The proposal from our Rectorate regarding the establishment of the Maritime Technologies Vocational School (dated 18/01/2013, with reference number 93130991-101-91-746), was examined at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting on 01/03/2013, and in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 as amended by Law No. 2880, the said proposal was approved and established.

On 26/12/2013, among the proposed programs, the "Underwater Technology and Mechatronics" programs were deemed appropriate to be opened within our Vocational School, as decided during the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on 15/01/2014. There are other proposed programs under consideration for opening, and the academic and administrative structuring activities are ongoing.
