Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University School of Maritime Technologies Quality Assurance Policy

Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University School of Maritime Technologies has been established with the goal of creating an academic community of world standards, by providing a learning and intellectual advancement environment encompassing all sciences, technology, and arts, to serve humanity and contribute to world peace. In line with the university's founding purpose, the adopted quality policy aims to develop the necessary mechanisms for continuous improvement of education, research and development, and management processes, by creating the best educational opportunities for its students and contributing to both the Turkish and global communities through creative endeavors. This is achieved by considering the views and requirements of internal and external stakeholders as significant elements of these mechanisms, aligning national and international educational standards with the institutional culture.

The continuity of the quality assurance system has been embraced and supported by all stakeholders with defined responsibilities and positions, in accordance with relevant regulations. The quality assurance policy has been disseminated throughout the institution to raise awareness. The Quality Committee, established to implement the Quality Assurance System, conducts its own internal evaluations in alignment with the university's institutional strategies to achieve corporate performance goals. It identifies necessary improvements and adopts a participatory and transparent approach in conducting these activities. In accordance with the quality policy, the university aims to enhance a sense of belonging by supporting academic integrity and freedom within a campus where living conditions are continuously improved. It treats all students and staff as members of a larger family, fostering tolerance and equal treatment to increase the sense of belonging.
