Answer: Yes, there is a prerequisite. Answer: There is no age restriction for application and registration to the school. After graduation, there is no age restriction in order to obtain a ministry-approved diving certificate, pursuant to the Second Part of the Regulation on Professional Underwater Men, 4) (Amended: OG-20/3/2016-29659).

What diving certifications can I get after graduation?

Answer: After you graduate, you can apply to the port authorities you are affiliated with in order to obtain the 1st Class Diver and Pressure Room Operator certificate, and you can get your certificates approved by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs.

For the sportive diving certificate, after completing the training steps, you can get your Turkish Underwater Sports Federation approved CMAS certificates with the letter of your instructors, if you complete the necessary documents.

Are materials needed for diving applications? Will we get it ourselves?

Answer: Every student should buy and use diving equipment himself, in order to be personal equipment and to prevent infectious diseases.

• Mask, fins (open) and snorkel / (ABC equipment)
• Wetsuit, booties, gloves
• Weight belt and lead weight appropriate for the diver's mass (10% of body weight)
• Regulator (full kit - console with depth gauge)
• Balance vest (BCD)

When should I get the equipment for diving applications?

Answer: You can supply the equipment within three weeks after the start of the classes.

Where will diving practices take place?

Answer: Diving applications will be made on the indoor pool, sea beach and pier of ÇOMÜ Dardanos campus (9 km from the center), as well as on the appropriate locations in the Çanakkale Strait by the instructor of the course.

How is the transportation to the Dardanos campus where the applications will be made?
