Dear Students,

We would like to inform you about the upcoming exemption exam for the English 1-2 course. This exam is designed for students who believe they have the necessary English language skills to waive the English 1-2 course requirement.

Date and Time: The English 1-2 exemption exam will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM.

Location: The exam will take place in the 118 and 109 no rooms of the School of Maritime Technologies building.

Eligibility:

1. This exam is exclusively for first-year students who have newly enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Important Information:

• Please arrive at the exam location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• You must bring a valid ID card or student ID for identification purposes.
• Pens, pencils, and any other necessary materials will be provided at the exam venue.
• The exam will be in person and will test your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
